Bayside (aka Bayside) is a Portland Maine neighborhood located just down Munjoy Hill towards the Back Cove. The geographic boarders are Franklin Street, Marginal Way, Forest Ave and Congress Street. During the past 20 years, Bayside has been a more industrial area with some freight and recycling centers. During the real estate boom of the early 2000's, it's sen a retail renaissance with the development of anchor tenants, Whole Foods, followed by Trader Joe's.
Residential real estate development has followed and there are currently a number of buildings that have been converted and updated. Dining and entertainment has also continued to develop with notable venues such as Bayside Bowl. East Bayside homes and condo's remain hot as this neighborhood continues with hip energy and investment.
